Resources free of charge

When farming ecologically (or regeneratively, as it is popularly known) it is handy to know what is happening around Australia or the World. Part of the purpose of this newsletter is to draw your attention to new ways of thinking or new tools to use. Here is a handy set of information for you from the Farming Together group based in Lismore at Southern Cross University.

Here is another one that we need to keep an eye on. It is the Metric means of measuring a farm’s ecological footprint. The Sustainable Food Network in the UK is behind it and they are currently testing it out. The SFN is calling it a Global tool for measuring sustainability (their term) and as such it will be made available to all free of charge. No release date has been mentioned but trials are underway and potentially it will make its appearance in 2023.

Finally, a resource that introduces a number of tools and resource links overseas. It is from an organisation called Work that Reconnects.
